Saturday 11 March at 10.30, in the theater room in the Rocca Estense, Antonella Bartolucci presents its third essay "The good witches. The symbols, gestures, the word. How does traditional medicine in the Internet age ", anthropological research on the world of "healers-scorers", more frequently healers, healing operators that, through their therapeutic techniques, They have as its primary objective the body. The fieldwork began between 1992 and the 1995 in the territory of San Martino in Rio and Correggio and is updated through the years. In this assay are collected data and names of healers from different regions, with the aim to verify the survival and mutations of folk medicine, but also to assess whether and how the internet has affected the therapeutic practices and the healer-patient relationship. There will be some healing of the land.

Following the inauguration of the photo exhibition “The good witches,it” the photographer Enrico Rossi, who accompanied Antonella in its documenting investigations symbols e gestures specific rituals of the different scoring.
